Our Business
Winmate Inc., established in 1996 and based in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, is a pioneer in the rugged industrial computer industry. We specialize in developing rugged industrial computer products widely applied across niche industries such as aerospace, maritime, military, law enforcement, transportation, automotive diagnostics, healthcare, petrochemicals, and process control. With service locations in the United States, Canada, Germany, and China, and a manufacturing base in Taiwan, we provide comprehensive solutions. As of the end of December 2024, our Taiwan operations include 429 employees, of which 46 are foreign nationals.
Our Policies
Winmate Inc. voluntarily supports and adheres to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) guidelines. We have established comprehensive policies, including the Human Resources Policy, Workplace Rules, and relevant personnel management regulations. We are committed to treating all employees fairly, respectfully, and with dignity, ensuring their human and labor rights are upheld. We strictly prohibit child labor, forced labor, or any form of illegal discrimination or inequality.
Our operational sites comply with labor laws and fundamental labor rights principles to protect employees' legal rights. We also require our suppliers to follow the same human rights principles. Key policies and codes of conduct include:

Our Practices
Risk Assessment
The primary risks in our business involve the employment of migrant workers and the labor sources of our suppliers.
Internal Management Measures
Winmate Inc. adheres to international standards such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO Core Labor Standards, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and RBA Code of Conduct. We also comply with local labor laws and national legislation, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the Australia Modern Slavery Act 2018.
We ensure:
- Good working conditions and reasonable working hours.
- Employee freedom to retain personal documents and freely terminate employment.
- Transparent terms of employment for migrant workers through licensed agencies.
- Pre-employment verification of age and identity.
- Wages that meet or exceed applicable national standards.
We require our suppliers to meet these same standards.
External Management Measures
When onboarding new suppliers, we conduct due diligence and regularly review existing suppliers. We work closely with them to understand their production processes and require signed agreements, including a Sustainability Declaration.
Responsible Minerals Management
While Winmate Inc. does not directly purchase raw metals, we have declared a Responsible Minerals Policy. Since 2021, we have adopted the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) from the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). We regularly investigate suppliers to ensure avoidance of illegal minerals sourced from conflict regions.
Training
All new employees undergo mandatory online training (including the Code of Conduct). All employees also participate in annual training programs.

Our Whistleblower Investigation Procedure outlines a transparent reporting process. The Internal Audit Office forms a task force to handle and investigate reports while ensuring the confidentiality of whistleblowers and preventing retaliation. Winmate Inc. guarantees no dismissal, reassignment, or adverse actions against employees for whistleblowing, unless misconduct is proven.
