Built to Survive
The FM07 is a fixed mount computer built to survive the rigors of the road. Vibration and shock-resistant, the FM07 series is compliant with the MIL-STD-810G standard, IP65 water and dustproof with M12 waterproof connectors. Winmate’s FM07 Series is built to survive extreme weather, operates through temperature changes from -20°C to 60°C and is suitable for cold storage applications.

VESA Mount Installation
The rear cover of the FM07 supports VESA mount (75 x 75 mm).
Winmate does not supply VESA Mount parts.
- Attach the VESA Plate to the rear cover of the FM07 using 4 x M4 mm Phillips screws
- Follow instructions provided by VESA mount parts supplier.

Can Winmate integrate legacy ports like CAN Bus into the FM07P?
Yes, ODM customization for legacy interfaces is a specialty. We can modify the mainboard or expansion board to include J1939 CAN Bus, RS-422/485, or GPIO interfaces, allowing the FM07P to communicate directly with older vehicle telematics systems.
Can I customize the BIOS settings at the factory level?
Yes, Winmate offers BIOS customization services. For OEM production runs, we can pre-flash a custom BIOS that locks boot order, enables/disables specific USB ports, or sets "AC Power On" defaults, saving your IT team hours of setup time.
Is the FM07P fanless and customizable for dusty environments?
Yes, it features a fanless thermal design. For ODM projects in conductive dust environments (like steel mills), we can enhance the thermal potting and sealing to exceed standard IP ratings, preventing short circuits caused by metal debris.
Can Winmate provide a custom-branded keyboard for this unit?
Yes, we offer OEM keyboard accessories. We can bundle the FM07P with a rugged, mountable keyboard that features your logo and a custom key layout (e.g., specific function keys highlighted) to create a complete workstation.
Is the screen viewable in direct sunlight?
Yes, high-brightness upgrades are available. While the standard model is bright, for outdoor OEM applications, we can upgrade the panel to 1000 nits with optical bonding technology to guarantee readability in direct sunlight.
Can the FM07P be customized for freezer use?
Yes, we can integrate an automatic defroster. For cold chain OEM clients, Winmate can add a screen heater (defroster) that activates automatically at low temperatures to keep the display frost-free.
Can I choose a specific Windows IoT version?
Yes, we support Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. We can pre-load your specific image and license key, ensuring stability and preventing unwanted Windows Updates from disrupting operations.
Can the wireless antennas be modified?
Yes, we can customize antenna types and locations. For vehicles with metal cages that block signals, we can modify the housing to include external SMA connectors, allowing you to mount high-gain antennas on the vehicle roof.
Can I order the housing in a custom color?
Yes, custom housing colors are available. To match your fleet branding or safety requirements (e.g., Safety Yellow), Winmate can mold or paint the magnesium alloy housing in your specific Pantone color (MOQ applies).
Does Winmate provide schematic design services for custom carrier boards?
